Description -
Building on the foundation from HTML5 Part 1, Ken will emphasize the advanced features and API’s available to build enterprise level Web applications. This will include in-depth discussion on their potential impact on Web security. We will cover topics such as the offline-storage and application cache features, and how they might impact Web application security and personal confidentiality. We will also demonstrate SVG Graphics, Web Workers, and microdata.
Ken Matesich is a current C2 Technologies, Inc. Programmer at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Tucson, AZ. As a Software Engineer and Computer Systems Administrator with 15 years of experience, he has designed numerous enterprise level software applications in support of Information Management systems for C2 TI staff and defense, government and corporate client users across the United States. He has a Bachelor’s of Arts in Anthropology and Computer Science from The University of Arizona, and a Computer Information Systems degree from Pima Community College, Tucson, and holds a CompTia Security+ certification.
